Ascension St. Francis 3rd Floor Renovation

The St. Francis 3rd Floor Renovation project consisted of a complete gut-and-remodel to the north wing, south wing, and central area, which included patient and support staff rooms, totaling 24,000 sqft. Given that the work was done in an active hospital, the JP Cullen team paid special attention to ensure our construction did not interfere with hospital operations.

The team worked with the hospital and surrounding departments to coordinate utility shut downs and demolition as well as other loud activities, accommodated an active MRI unit, and relocated a special care nursery on the floor above to keep infants away from the construction noise.

The project was scheduled for 9 weeks, but due to a water shutdown and delays from inspections, the schedule was shortened to 6 weeks. JP Cullen exceeded expectations and overcame the challenge of a condensed schedule.
