We specialize in the “Tough Jobs” no one else can do. And we need students with a hard work ethic and can-do attitude that we can train to help us accomplish these jobs.

We are seeking high school students going into their senior year who are looking to explore opportunities in the construction industry. Our Youth Apprenticeship program pairs a student with a project team to give them exposure to various trades including the following:

  • Laborers
  • Carpenters
  • Bricklayers

Students who enjoy working with their hands, being a part of a team, and seeing progress made daily.

 

Position Summary:
  • Follow and promote our safety protocols
  • Learn to put quality work in place safely, effectively and efficiently
  • Complete physical labor as directed by supervisor
  • Learn to follow building plans and drawings
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating with your team members
  • Wear appropriate clothing for the construction industry
  • Be on time and ready to work
  • Have the standard hand tools for your work
Position Background Requirements:
  • Perform physical labor and comfortable working at heights or tight spaces
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation
  • Entering senior year of high school
  • Minimum of 450 hours of work-based learning
  • Two semesters of related classroom instruction
  • End by August 31st after graduation
