Job Overview:
Our Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
Major Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the most complex and detailed projects ensuring overall profitability and customer satisfaction
- Able to properly manage projects in value over $30 million
- Capable of executing subcontracts and purchase orders over to $5 million each
- Accountable for maintaining project schedules with on-time delivery for up to 5 customers
- Responsible for execution of subcontracts and purchase orders, cash management, project schedule, and overall subcontractor performance.
- Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk
- management, procurement management, etc.
- Guide and mentor multiple project teams that include site engineers, administrative assistants, superintendents, and foreman
- Oversee the project’s team’s work to ensure that they meet deadlines and milestones
- Review project deliverables to ensure that they meet requirements and specifications
- Provide technical expertise and experience where needed to solve complex problems
- Communicate with stakeholders about project status, risks, and challenge
- Marketing the company and pursue profitable business development opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service that will result in long-term relationships
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree related to construction and at least 7 years of project management experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge in the areas of construction, design, finance, and management.
- Good understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities
- Must possess superior communication and interpersonal (facilitation, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills
