Beverage Manufacturer Production Line Expansion

In 2022, a beverage manufacturer expanded their hard seltzer production line with a 10,000 sqft addition to their massive 818,000 sqft brewery in Southern California.  The client aimed to complete this project as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We poured a 1,200-yard mat slab with multiple trench-drains in the production areas, built a sturdy structural steel skeleton, and added an Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) skin with a rubber roof over tapered insulation.

The project involved installing fabricated pieces of steel. Inside, we built two 2-hour rated structural masonry rooms for the electrical substation and chemical storage, along with an office and two restrooms with showers. The remaining 7,158 sqft is an open production area.

We also constructed a new 3-hour rated shaft wall at the existing building, measuring 100 feet long by 45 feet high, and applied spray fireproofing to all steel and decking within 10 feet of the existing structure.
