Soy Sauce Producer Fermenter Tank Expansion

Since 2017, JP Cullen has partnered with this confidential client to enhance their Walworth, WI facility. In 2019, our team successfully completed a multi-phase expansion, including the installation of eight soy sauce fermenter tanks, each weighing approximately 75,000 pounds and capable of holding up to 100,000 gallons of soy sauce.

Given the space constraints and the priority on safety, our team prefabricated the fermenter tanks and five alcove walkways adjacent to the active jobsite. By doing so, we avoided the need for installation 70 feet in the air. Prefabricating the tanks on the ground also allowed us to integrate structural steel, mechanical systems, and insulated metal panels ahead of time. Once on-site, our team safely installed the prefabricated components in just six days, minimizing disruption to the facility’s operations.

This collaboration not only increased the Soy Sauce Producer’s production capacity but also reinforced our commitment to delivering efficient and safe solutions for the food and beverage industry.
