The Agrace Dementia Village is redefining what memory care can look and feel like in the United States. As a renovation and expansion of Agrace’s existing Fitchburg campus, this first‑of‑its‑kind community is inspired by successful European village models and designed to feel like a familiar neighborhood rather than a traditional care setting. The environment emphasizes dignity, independence and connection, with thoughtfully planned residences, shared gathering spaces and walkable paths that support daily routines and meaningful engagement for individuals living with dementia. The project is scheduled to break ground in May 2026.
As construction partners, we are honored to help bring this vision to life through more than 30,000 square feet of active construction—completed while Agrace continues providing uninterrupted care to residents and families on campus. This carefully phased renovation and expansion places safety, comfort and continuity of care at the forefront, ensuring daily operations remain unaffected throughout construction. The Dementia Village demonstrates how thoughtful collaboration, intentional design and skilled execution can create spaces that truly feel like home while setting a new standard for memory care in the U.S.
