Confidential Client Deli Fresh Expansion
This 13,750 sqft building addition was designed to increase plant capacity and create space for two new primary and secondary packaging lines, supporting their growing demand and the need for more efficient production.
The addition included concrete pile caps and foundations, a structural steel frame with bar joist roof support, insulated metal panel (IMP) walls and ceiling, and a slab-on-grade with durable epoxy flooring. We self-performed the steel, concrete, demolition, and prefabrication portions of the work.
By bringing us on early in the process, it allowed the entire team to collaborate closely early in the process reducing design changes and minimizing miscommunication. The success of this project has resulted in several other projects with the client, further demonstrating JP Cullen’s experience in dairy processing facility construction, cooler addition contractor services, and plant expansion, including:
- 1,900 SF building addition for a seasoning grind room
- 18,300 SF building addition for additional production space
- 20,000 SF cooler addition
- Office expansion and locker room addition/renovation
- Parking lot expansion
