The Rock County 911 Communications Center was faced with significant challenges with their outdated facilities, limited space, and inadequate technological capabilities. These challenges delayed their operational efficiency and impacted the ability to serve the community effectively.

To address these issues, Rock County initiated a renovation and expansion project that involved a one-story addition of approximately 6,400 square feet and interior remodeling of about 2,200 square feet to the existing facility. Throughout the construction process, close communication was vital to ensure the 911 center remained fully operational, as it could not shut down or be relocated.

The newly expanded and remodeled space now facilitates a more efficient connection for the center’s servers and computer systems, streamlining operations and enhancing security measures. These improvements protect against potential shutdowns and ensure uninterrupted service delivery during everyday critical operations. Our dedication to performance and our willingness to work closely with the project team, including county vendors, led to a smooth and timely transition from the existing facility to the newly renovated one; ultimately bringing a more efficient facility all while keeping the existing 911 Communication Center operational.
