Our JP Cullen team of experts were selected to partner with Ascension on the St. Francis Hospital behavioral health expansion in Milwaukee. A project designed to create a centralized behavioral health hub on the hospital’s campus. The renovation will deliver a modern inpatient behavioral health unit with an additional 16 beds, supporting Ascension’s goal of improving access to mental health services in the region. Construction includes the complete demolition and remodel of an existing floor, with significant interior buildout, infrastructure upgrades within an active hospital environment, and required care coordination to maintain safety, operations, and patient care.
The new unit is slated to open mid-year 2026, and once complete, the project will strengthen behavioral health resources in Milwaukee and expand Ascension’s ability to serve patients in need of specialized mental health treatment.
