Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center Grand Opening

Tiffany Scuglik

“JP Cullen has built a facility unlike any in the world”, quoted from Peter Feigin, President of the Milwaukee Bucks, last Thursday at the grand opening of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center, also known as the Milwaukee Bucks training center.  It has been an honor for us to lead this year-long project to bring an incredible new facility for the Milwaukee Bucks organization, City of Milwaukee, the State of Wisconsin, and all Milwaukee Bucks fans.

As a resident of Milwaukee, this project, along with the new Milwaukee Bucks Arena, has been amazing to see go up so fast and create this new hub between McKinley and Juneau.  Milwaukee is a basketball city and these new state-of-the-art facilities, without a doubt, prove it.

Giving Back to the Community

The building of the training center was not just a facility for the Milwaukee Bucks, but a project to bring excitement, learning, and employment to the Milwaukee community. The facility allowed us to involve the community including giving tours to students from the local schools. These tours gave students hands on experience, hopefully helping ignite a spark of interest in the skilled trades. We also hired local sub-contractors and field workers for the building of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center.  We can’t imagine the feeling of each of those individuals being able to walk by the training center and smile, knowing that they had a helping hand on building this beautiful, new facility.

We too will always walk by with a smile, and now, proudly say – We are JP Cullen, Proud Builders of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center.
