Without a cleanliness standard policy, the food and beverages produced cannot be consumed. With this major policy in place, how can a company undergo construction in a live production facility without breaking this policy? On top of this major concern, how can facility workers be kept safe during construction?

Whether you are a national Food and Beverage manufacturer or a small local food production entrepreneur, food safety is of the utmost importance. Noise, dust, and other disruptions due to construction in your facility can be a headache that we want to not only approach head-on but solve in a strategic, clean, safe manner.

Cleanliness and safety start with the client. JP Cullen performs Clean Room Practices according to the specifications of the client. It is embedded in our corporate culture to understand our client’s policies and procedures on Clean Room applications and safety, and to train our team from within prior to beginning work at their facility. Our clients are always first.

6 Clean Room Practices

Along with adopting a company’s Clean Room Practices, we have developed a few of our own universal Clean Room Practices. Through our experience in new construction and remodeling of food production facilities, healthcare facilities, manufacturing facilities, and chemical plants, we have conceived internal protection guidelines for safety, noise, dust, fumes, and other contaminants. Our guidelines are intentionally designed for FDA regulated food-processing plants and AIB food-processing plants. Here are our 6 Clean Room Practices:

  • Sealed Work Areas
  • Negative Air Units
  • Tack Mats
  • Roll-Off
  • Handwashing
  • Boot Washing

6 Employee Safety Practices

In addition to these practices, six more practices are implemented to maintain a safe working environment for the employees of the client at the active work site. It is imperative that we keep the employees safe while we work. Here are our 6 Employee Safety Practices we set in place:

  • Follow the company requirements and policies to keep all employees safe
  • Complete daily inspections and safety observations
  • Comply with all GEHSMS, Global Environment Health & Safety Management System policies
  • Communicate and coordinate with company staff in daily activities
  • Identify and clearly mark paths around the construction site
  • Employ methods, materials, and equipment to minimize noise, dust, and vibration

Our Clean Room Experience

Due to these practices, we have had the privilege to work with several clients in various markets. Companies have recognized our skill and experience, while observing our ability to sustain both Clean Room Practices and Employee Safety. By using our own methodology alongside the requirements of the facilities we work in, we have had the chance to impact clients of different sizes and industries. Here are a few of the clients we have worked with:

As the Tough Job Experts, a little dust or noise will not stop us from completing the work our clients need to be done in their facilities. We are ready to complete any project and overcome any foreseeable challenges that arise within the realm of Clean Room Practices and Safety.
