Meet Jackie! Not only is she one of our Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Interns, but she is apart of the 2022 Senior Class who collectively make up a 100% acceptance rate into college.
Since February of 2021, Jackie has been spending her Friday’s working and learning here at JP Cullen. We met up with Jackie on her last day with us to chat about her next plans and what she is going to miss most about JP Cullen.
Where are you headed to next?
Alverno College, Public Health Major.
What’s next for Jackie at Alverno?
I would like to work in health care which is why I decided on Public Health. My knowledge of business and corporate side of things can help me branch into Public Health.
What made you want to pursue Public Health?
I have always been involved in social justice side of things, I am really excited to use my skills, knowledge, and my passion to make a difference.
What was your favorite thing about being apart of the JP Cullen family?
My favorite part of being in the JP Cullen family is the flex space and the ability to expand on my skills at work. I really enjoyed the ability to work and grow my corporate skills, especially with the trust that JP Cullen gave me.
What will you take away from your intern experience?
I am so glad that JP Cullen gave me this opportunity to work here. The staff was always super supportive and helped me realize that corporate/professional work isn’t scary! I am more comfortable now because of my time at Cullen and it changed my perspective on work.
Jackie celebrated her last day in the Milwaukee office with lunch of choice, her pick, Shake Shack. She’s a huge fan of the chicken sandwiches and says they are “way better” then Chick-Fil-A. While we don’t know if the office agrees with her 100% on that, we all agree that Jackie has been an amazing addition to our family, and we will miss her!
JP Cullen offers a wide variety of internships for high school and college students, if you are interested in learning more about our programs, please reach out to kelsey.bull@jpcullen.com
