We are thrilled to extend our warmest congratulations to Hannah Jost, who is set to assume the role of President within our Young Leaders Group. Hannah will also actively participate in Corporate Strategic Planning meetings, bringing her valuable insights and fresh perspectives to the table.
The Young Leaders (YL) Group is comprised of JP Cullen colleagues who have been with the company for five years or less. The primary goal of the group is to foster the growth and development of its members by facilitating shared learning experiences, thereby enhancing the individual capabilities of our team while simultaneously benefiting the company. They are also passionate about involving our employees across the company to serve as mentors, teachers and trainers, as well as promote leadership development, and facilitate networking among those in similar roles.
The YL group meets on a quarterly basis to discuss company updates, receive presentations from key stakeholders, and forge stronger connections with team members beyond their day-to-day responsibilities. Furthermore, new YL members can seek out mentors within the company, providing invaluable guidance and support as they embark on their careers in the construction industry with us.
Beyond quarterly meetings, the YL Group actively engages with our local communities through volunteer initiatives. These endeavors encompass a wide range of activities, including highway and community cleanups, furniture building and home improvement projects in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, assistance with stocking and organizing food pantries, on-site visits to gain a deeper understanding of our field operations, and numerous other community-oriented projects.
Hannah Jost’s leadership will be joined with Bryce Hielsberg as the new Vice President in the Spring of 2024. We look forward to seeing the new and fresh perspectives these two will bring to the table.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our previous two leaders, Mitch Danner, who served as President, and Kelsey Bull, our Vice President. Their unwavering dedication and hard work significantly contributed to the YL group. They spearheaded various strategic initiatives, one of which led to a remarkable achievement: the total volunteer hours for our YL group doubled their goal to over 400 hours this past year. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their outstanding leadership.
