In November of 2022, voters in Rock and Green counties approved a referendum to build a $32 million, state-of-the-art Public Safety and Transportation Center to Blackhawk Technical College’s Central Campus in Janesville, WI. This new building will include several training facilities including an Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC), fire training facilities, specialized simulation labs and additional classrooms to serve students in various public safety and transportation programs offered by the college.
