JP Cullen has been a partner with Edgerton School District for over 10 years, recently completing their $40.6 million referendum to address long-term facility needs at all four of the District schools. This project included:

  • Renovations to existing classrooms at Community Elementary created a primary (K-2) and intermediate (3-5) school with shared, flexible learning spaces and resource areas.
  • The new academic addition at Community Elementary features a new modern library (the former library space was renovated and transformed into a new cafeteria).
  • A new at Community Elementary gymnasium serves grades K-2, while the existing gymnasium now serves grades 3-5. Also, a new interior courtyard shines natural light into the classrooms and library spaces.
  • A new secure vestibule addition at Community Elementary helps control visitor access and security.
  • A new secure vestibule addition at the High School helps control visitor access and security.
  • Renovations were done at the High School to expand the cafeteria, kitchen, and commons area. This created ample cafeteria seating as well as a space for large gatherings.
  • An expansion of math classrooms and science labs at the high school to better support the curriculum.
  • The former library at the High School was renovated into a STEM commons area to serve as student collaboration space.
  • The High School band room was renovated and relocated next to the new choir room.
  • ADA compliance throughout the District.
  • Updates to existing building systems.

Prior to the successful November 2018 referendum, the District worked for nearly two years on a facilities study which we lead the Facilities Advisory Committee. Our referendum team also supported the passage of their referendum.
