Employee Check-In
Then & Now
Meet Matt
Matt Roberts, Ironworker Foreman, has been with JP Cullen for 15 years and has never been laid off once. Read what he had to say about how his career has grown:
“Crazy to think when I first started 20+ years ago, I was crawling around on steel beams, not tied off, before we used boom lifts. So glad things have changed for the safety of myself and my fellow Ironworkers!”
Being able to work with some of the hardest working men and women in the business, being part of a brotherhood in this construction world, and knowing that so many people have your back. For me, it started when I was a kid. My dad was an Ironworker and would take me on jobs, and I was always amazed by the cranes and the people he worked with. I knew that’s what I wanted to do.
JP Cullen is such a great place to work; my wife earned a job here a few years ago!”

My experience as a site engineer intern led me to choose to work full time for JP Cullen. I was given real responsibilities and the right amount of guidance. JP Cullen has the best work environment and most supportive mentors that I have experienced so far in my career. I like working in construction because every day is different, and every day brings a new challenge.
