This week’s Meet the Crew post is shining the spotlight on Wendy Booth. Wendy is the Executive Assistant in the Industrial Division and has been with JP Cullen for 9 years. We sat down with her and asked her a few questions:
What is your proudest achievement?
I am incredibly proud to be a member of JP Cullen’s Industrial Division and the significant growth we have seen these last few years. My teammates are all terrific and I am so proud to work such wonderful people. I am also very proud of the growth Kayla Gooslin and Krystal Sippel have this year.
Who has been most important to you?
My family is my world. I do everything for my family – my boys!!
Tell us one thing that no one knows about you.
One thing would be my taste in music. My kids pick on me all the time, but my favorite group is WHAM and my favorite singer is George Michael. The movie Deadpool made WHAM kind of cool, but not enough that my kids don’t pick on me!
What has been the funniest moment in your career?
At JP Cullen, I have two and both involve Ron Becher. I will share one. It was Christmas time and Ron was walking by my office and asked me if it was Ugly Sweater Day, knowing that it wasn’t. In my defense, it was a very nice vest!! The following day actually was Ugly Sweater Day, so it came in with my ugly sweater… a sweater with Mr. Becher’s face on it! When he saw it, it was worth it. You don’t get Mr. Becher speechless too often.
Another funny moment happened at my previous job. I drove a car with a sunroof open and the windows down. Big mistake. When I got ready to leave, I went to my car and it had been filled with shipping peanuts, right up to the windows! It took forever to clean out. In fact, when I sold it, there were still shipping peanuts that came out from under the seats…
