J. P. Cullen & Sons, Inc. (Cullen) was recently awarded a $5.6 million dollar contract to construct a new single story, 25,000 sq. ft. Family Care Center for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. The medical office will continue to be the teaching site for the St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency Program, a partnership with The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Family and Community Medicine.
The project will be managed out of Cullen’s Brookfield office and is scheduled to be complete in June of 2012. The center will have 28 examination rooms, physician offices, conference rooms and space for physician education.
The Family Care Center is going to meet an important need in a community that has an estimated 8,000 people that deal with a shortage of primary care in the area. With Cullen’s help they will be able to provide high-quality innovative family medicine to those in need
