The Camp Randall Stadium Student-Athlete Performance Center project has already been awarded several prestigious awards, including:

The Camp Randall Student Athlete Performance Center (SAPC) was a three phase project for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Athletic Department that broke ground in January 2012 and finished December 2013. The $74 million construction project entailed several unique challenges and opportunities the project team worked through together to develop the best solution for the Client.
Camp Randall Stadium is the prime example of an active construction site, with crowds of over 80,000 fans filling the stadium on game day- construction or no construction. Creating ways to work around and safely manage these events, successfully coordinating schedules with all contractors and the University Athletics Department to keep construction moving, taking part in all design and planning meetings, and constantly striving to go above and beyond for the University are a few of the key factors that attributed to the success of this project.
The first two phases of the project included a players tunnel from the locker room to the Camp Randall playing field; field turf replacement; new locker rooms and lounges for track, soccer and football; a sports medicine center; a weight room and nutrition area and replacing the roof and cladding on the McClain Center along with main entrance. Phase 3 involved an entirely new addition to the north end of Camp Randall Stadium – the Fetzer Center. The 30,000 sq. ft. Academic Center includes study rooms, tutoring space and computer labs. It’s stone and glass façade continues the exterior of Camp Randall, while defining a main entry point for both the Fetzer Center and the McClain Center. Another portion of Phase 3 is most noticeable on game day: the stadium’s new video board and sound system. The screen, measuring 100 – by- 42 feet tall, dwarfs its 43-by-24 foot predecessor, and the sound system amplifies the game-day experience.
