John Kaltenberg, site engineer, and Randy Kisley, project superintendent, presented “Construction Careers” to the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Trevor Wilmot School on January 18, 2011. John and Randy each told their personal story of how they came into the construction industry and the different types of training and classes they attended. The presentation highlighted trade careers of masons, concrete finishers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The students viewed progress photos of their school’s new addition and asked a lot of great questions. The students were able to tour the project outside the fence during the setting of the precast for their new gym and are eager to take a tour of the interior in spring after the overhead work is complete.
