David and Kathy were recently honored with the Professional Achievement Award at the University of South Dakota’s Unleash Your Legacy Awards, recognizing their longstanding commitment and support to the school. These awards aim to recognize and celebrate alumni who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities and highlight individuals who exemplify the university’s values through professional achievements, service, and advocacy. The series not only honors outstanding alumni, like David and Kathy Cullen, but also serves as an inspiration to current students and the university community by showcasing the lasting impact of its graduates.
David and Kathy both earned their undergraduate degrees from the University of South Dakota. Even after leaving campus, they have continued to make their mark and leave a lasting legacy. Their incredible professional and community contributions have made a significant impact across Wisconsin and all the way in South Dakota.
In October, the Cullens returned to their alma mater to attend the University’s Alumni Achievement Ceremony. This event, a key part of the Dakota Days celebration, focused on service and advocacy for the university. David and Kathy were honored alongside four other distinguished alumni.
