Ab E Discovery HIEP Production Facility

JP Cullen partnered with Ab E Discovery, a biotechnology company headquartered in Madison, WI, to build their new R&D facility Wisconsin. Ab E Discovery (Ab E) is known for their hyper-immunized egg technologies and continues to grow in innovations for animal health and nutrition.

JP Cullen was hired under a design-build contract allowing JP Cullen and the engineer to collaborate early on the project, eliminating or lessening different designs and miscommunications. This directly benefited the client with cost and schedule savings, streamlining the building process.

We utilized our preconstruction services to develop budgets for the client to give an accurate cost. The budget books contained Master Schedules and in-depth Accurate Cost Estimating. Additionally, JP Cullen representatives went to an existing facility of Ab E’s to gain knowledge of the design similarities of the existing facility and the processes that occurred within to construct the new facility.

Once construction began, JP Cullen’s scope of work was the construction of the new facility, site work, underground utilities, and installing large equipment made by Glatt. Our team self-performed the structural steel erection, concrete foundations, and equipment installation.
