Children’s Wisconsin Hospital Sleep Lab Renovation

Children’s Wisconsin Hospital in Milwaukee recently selected JP Cullen to partner on the renovation of their Sleep Lab. The 12,000 sqft of existing Hospital space is located on the 2nd floor of the South tower. The new floor is undergoing a complete demolition and reconstruction to offer patients larger, state-of-the-art, and more efficient sleep labs. Each of the 12 new sleep labs will not only increase in size by over 60% but also in efficiency. Each of these new labs will feature external-facing monitors, controls and equipment, allowing for comprehensive control from outside each lab. This design ensures an undisturbed setting, and more accurate results during these critical studies.

In addition to the lab space renovation, the project includes the replacement of Air Handling Units and related infrastructure and mechanical upgrades on the 4th floor, along with window replacements along the East elevation of the 2nd floor. The sleep lab is slated to open and welcome the first patients in the fall of 2024.
