As stated on the Deer District’s website, “Developed on 30 acres of land that formerly was home to the Park East Freeway, Deer District is more than Milwaukee’s premiere location for sports and entertainment, it is Milwaukee’s newest neighborhood – a neighborhood built for Milwaukee to live, work AND play.”

With our Milwaukee office located just blocks away from the Deer District, we feel a special pride completing transformational projects for our local community. As the Deer District has expanded over the years, we have been involved with a few of the projects that are key to the transformation.

The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center, boasts 77,500 sqft of space for team use and enclosed parking. The multi-level building offers all the necessary accommodations to comfortably house an NBA team with ample workout spaces, rehabilitation areas, leisure space, and office areas.

The Milwaukee Bucks Arena, also known as Fiserv Forum required steel erection for the new 73,00 sqft area. JP Cullen performed the erection of approximately 8,000 tons of structural steel. The arena consists of 7,673 main structural pieces (columns and beams), 6,000 additional miscellaneous structural steel pieces, and 89,417 structural bolts. The project began in November of 2016 and was completed in August of 2017, three weeks ahead of schedule.

In addition to the training center and arena, we also completed a 4,000 sqft interior build-out for Milwaukee Bucks Gaming, a newer business venture for the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee Bucks gaming is part of the NBA 2K eSports league, along with 17 other NBA franchises, in which the teams compete against each other in the video game NBA 2K.

With the Deer District continuing to grow, we look forward to being a part of future projects!
