Froedtert Southside Family Medicine Center

Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin had a vision of bringing family medicine to the southside of Milwaukee within the Mitchell Street Historic District and teamed with JP Cullen to bring that project to fruition. The project spanned over 16,000 square feet and was designed to meet the healthcare needs of the community effectively. The facility was completely renovated to include 16 exam rooms, office spaces, central care team spaces, doctor/resident training rooms, behavior health focused rooms, and collaboration areas. The renovation not only provided accessible healthcare services to the community but preserved the historical integrity of the building and the Mitchell Street Historic District through compliance with the Historic Preservation Commission standards.

The construction was designed and customized to serve the Physician Residency Training Program at the new facility and will continue to cycle in residents through the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Our dedicated construction team successfully delivered the project on time, adding 30 new staff and residency positions to the area. This renovation project not only expanded healthcare services but also strengthened the local workforce, making a positive impact on the community.
