The largest capital project in UW Athletic’s history is replacing the aging Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center and the McClain Center’s 80-yard football practice field. The state-of-the-art complex will serve over 800 student-athletes across 23 sports, providing them with the resources they need to excel.

The new facility will include a 120-yard indoor turf field, strength and conditioning center, 305-meter training track, student-athlete dining hall, sports medicine center, locker rooms, coaching offices and student-athlete well-being spaces. The facility will be adjacent to Camp Randall and the Stephen M. Bennett Student-Athlete Performance Center, where student-athletes receive academic advising, tutoring, career support, mental health services, and post-graduate preparation.

Upon completion, the new facility will revolutionize the training environment for Wisconsin’s athletes. The enhanced spaces will not only improve performance but also attract new talent, solidifying UW-Madison’s reputation as an inspiration in collegiate sports.
