UnityPoint Health – Meriter Strategic Bed Capacity Expansion

At UnityPoint Health – Meriter, we completed a project that included the renovation of an existing 129 bed spaces over four different floors ranging from patient rooms, flex space, and core rooms. To ensure consistency and create a simply installation process, we utilized prefabricated headwalls for each room. In addition, we kitted door hardware and bathroom accessories to minimize search time and worker movement. The result? There was reduced congestion in the patient rooms and minimized crew size in the space. In turn, our labor savings are 20% on the project for headwall installation.
