UW Health selected the joint venture of JP Cullen and Mortenson to partner and build a new state-of-the-art ambulatory clinic with two towers. 469,000 sqft of space will house specialty services such as cardiology, dermatology, oncology, and ophthalmology. The South side of the new campus will be home to the only upright proton therapy treatment in North America. The advanced patient and cancer care at the Eastpark clinic will offer fewer side effects, more accurately targeted areas to be treated, and even hard-to-reach tumors that may be close to vital organs and tissue.
The new clinic will incorporate lessons learned from COVID-19, such as telehealth capacity and space for physical distancing if necessary. The building is currently under construction with a scheduled completion date of fall 2024.
