UW-Madison Mechanical Engineering Lab

The newly renovated Mechanical Engineering Lab at UW Madison offers undergraduate students an array of state-of-the-art equipment that enhances the theoretical learning and develops student’s lab reporting and analytical skills.

The project included a complete remodel of an existing classroom, transforming the environment into a specialized learning hub. The renovation features distinct areas for classroom instruction, lab space equipped with technology for material testing, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and other analytical methods, as well as dedicated offices for department professional staff. The project also included the installation of new exteriors walls and windows to bring natural light into the updated lab space.
