What sparked your interest in the construction industry?

I love being outdoors, not having to report to the same work location, and participating in the process of constructing a building that is meant to last for generations to come always has been very satisfying to me.  I have been blessed with many opportunities in my career which have kept me engaged and fulfilled.

If you had to choose a different profession, what would it be?

I have asked myself that several times throughout my career for different reasons and I always come back to nothing — I absolutely love being a builder and a contractor.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

To be a good steward of the things I have been blessed to be responsible for.

Top 3 highlights of my life?

Meeting my wife Marcia, when our boys were born, and seeing them grow into fine young men!

What is something people wouldn’t expect about you?

I like to dance, even though I am really bad at it!

What was the best vacation you have ever had?

My wife and I went to Huatulco Mexico for our 25th anniversary!  We had the best time, and the accommodations and location were awesome!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to fly. I always thought that was so cool when Superman did that!
