For nearly thirty years, we have been honored to collaborate with Clinton Community School District. Most recently with the successful completion of a $32 million district-wide referendum, a project that revitalized, upgraded, and reimagined their educational facilities.

The process began with the district undertaking a thorough assessment of its campus and school facilities. Faced with the urgency of making informed decisions, they sought our expertise to navigate cost estimation and evaluate potential solutions. With two school buildings surpassing 50 years of age, it was clear that substantial capital improvements were essential.

The district proposed a $32 million plan to the community. Under the guidance of Alex Mielke and our dedicated referendum team, and in partnership with the architect, the district garnered support.

Following the successful passage of the referendum, the district and community collectively decided to close the elementary school, reconfigure the middle school into a 4K-6 elementary school, and relocate grades 7-8 to the high school, ensuring a more cohesive and efficient educational environment for all.

In close collaboration with the project architect, our team meticulously fine-tuned the preconstruction phase. This strategic planning allowed us to mitigate costs effectively, returning savings to the district who were able to add enhancements beyond the original plan. This not only maximized the value of their investment but also enriched the educational experience for the community’s students.
