The Albany School District, located in Green County, is compromised of one building housing 4-year-old kindergarten through 12th grade. The building also serves as a fitness center for community use. In April 2019, voters approved a $2.75 million dollar referendum which allowed the District to build a new addition and upgrade the current building. The project included:

  • A new addition with a secure main entrance that routes visitors through the main office, as well as creates a defined entrance for guests. The new entrance frees up existing office space to better serve students by centralizing student service functions.
  • A new commons space to serve a variety of needs during the school day while also providing a location for community activities and a safer and more convenient space to be utilized by the Community Center.
  • Minor renovations to the restrooms adjacent to the new space.,
  • A partial roof replacement.
