The new Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison addresses the current and future recreation, fitness and wellness needs of the campus. The new facility provides Badgers an experience unique to the University, fully taking advantage of its natural surroundings. This state-of-the-art facility caters to student wellbeing with dedicated services like the Wolf Teaching kitchen, restorative studios, massage therapy rooms, peer wellness coaching, and meditation rooms. For those seeking aquatic activities, an 8-lane, 25-yard recreational pool awaits. Additionally, the center boasts eight multipurpose courts, the Sub-Zero Ice Center, a climbing and bouldering wall, sports simulators, multipurpose studios, and an indoor jogging track. To maximize convenience and comfort, there’s also a rooftop fitness area with turf.
