Nestled in downtown Madison, the Verex Plaza stands out as a premier office building boasting breathtaking views of Lake Mendota, the State Capitol, and the Mansion Hill Neighborhood. Foley & Lardner LLP, a nationally recognized law firm, calls this office home but embarked on a journey to renovate their space to modernize it.

Despite the complexity of this six-month renovation of 45,000 sqft of space across four and a half floors, our team ensured minimal disruption to occupants. From refreshing nearly every room to starting with the library and multi-purpose room on the third floor, then progressing to attorney offices and West & East Wing remodels, and finally completing the locker and break rooms, the project was meticulously phased to maintain functionality. With only three public elevators and no private freight elevator, logistical challenges were overcome by scheduling night and weekend work and breaking construction into approximately 30 phases.

Overcommunication was also paramount, with daily morning calls between our team and the office manager to address concerns and ensure seamless coordination, exemplifying our commitment to excellence in project execution.
