JP Cullen recently completed a transformative interior buildout project, converting a standard office building into a vibrant and specialized Children’s Rehabilitation Clinic focused on physical therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy. Spanning 7,700 square feet and valued at $2.5 million, the project was designed and built with every detail tailored to pediatric care.
The new clinic features 16 custom-equipped exam, therapy, and feeding rooms, each designed to meet the unique needs of children across a range of abilities. A standout feature is the Quiet Room, engineered to provide an ultra-calming environment with adjustable lighting, sound, and temperature controls, offering a safe and personalized space for sensory-sensitive patients. Another highlight is the semi-divided Swing Room, which includes a variety of therapeutic equipment to accommodate diverse mobility and sensory needs. This space balances privacy with flexibility, supporting both individual and group therapy sessions.
At the heart of the clinic is the Rehabilitation Gym, a fully customized space that blends fun with function. The gym features soft flooring with a built-in track, plush ball pits, swings, endurance walls, and monkey bars. Its centerpiece, a castle-like playground, serves as both a therapeutic tool and an engaging retreat, helping young patients build strength, coordination, and confidence through play-based physical therapy.
