The Racine Unified School District embarked on a transformative journey to upgrade its facilities, backed by a $1 billion referendum. As part of this initiative, Horlick High School is undergoing significant renovations to enhance safety, modernize learning environments, and accommodate future growth. Our preconstruction teams and budgeting processes are so precise that our GMP came within an astonishing 0.01% of the original budget. This level of accuracy underscores our commitment to meticulous planning.

The scope of the project includes implementing advanced security systems to ensure a safe learning environment for all students and staff. Classrooms and common areas are being upgraded to create flexible, state-of-the-art learning spaces that meet the needs of a growing student population. The outdated 1928 wing is being demolished to make way for new construction, including a modern, two-story addition that will expand the school’s capacity and provide additional resources. The existing pool area is being repurposed to create a dedicated locker room for the girls’ varsity teams. Additionally, essential infrastructure improvements are being made to support the enhanced facilities and ensure long-term sustainability.
