With an initiative to better serve the needs of adults who are being evaluated for or have received a transplant; and those who give the gift of life through living organ donation, The University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics invested in a state-of-the-art renovation.
The UW Health Transplant program is considered one of the oldest, largest, and most successful in the country. Patients now have a redesigned entrance that features a welcoming patient experience with enhanced wayfinding, traffic flows, and a valet station. The new interior lobby includes a digital information wall and guest services center to greet patients and visitors immediately upon arrival.
The new Pleasant T Rowland Transplant Clinic features new flexible exam rooms, prep and recovery rooms, infusion rooms, private consultation rooms, and two cutting-edge procedure rooms.
