UW-Madison Camp Randall Student-Athlete Performance Center
Size:
Location:
The Student-Athlete Performance Center provides facilities that continue to attract the best student-athletes to the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Accomplished in three phases, the project added a multi-story, 32,000 sqft facility to house the programs for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. The first two phases included a players’ tunnel from the locker room to the playing field, field turf replacement, locker rooms, lounges, sports medicine center, weight room and nutrition area. Phase three included an entirely new build-out on the north end zone of the stadium, the 30,000 square foot Fetzer Academic Center: containing study rooms, tutoring space and computer labs, as well as the stadium’s new videoboard and sound system to amplify the game day experience.
Camp Randall Stadium is the prime example of an active construction site, with crowds of over 80,000 fans filling the stadium on game day – construction or no construction. Our team had to create ways to work around and safely manage these events, successfully coordinate schedules with all contractors and UW to keep construction moving and constantly strive to go above and beyond for the University.
